UNC Strengthens Mental Health & Performance Psychology Program

Cydnia Young has served in the military services and volunteered for humanitarian organizations around the globe. Her future action? Helping UNC university student-athletes improve their mental overall health.
 
Youthful is the newest addition to the employees of the Carolina Athletics Mental Wellbeing and Functionality Psychology Application, which is a element of UNC Section of Sports activities Medicine. In her function as a psychological wellness therapist, she fulfills with Tar Heel folks and teams to retain and boost their physical, psychological, social and spiritual very well-remaining and operating.

Younger is a Licensed Medical Social Worker Affiliate and is certified in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Integration Therapy, and Domestic Violence Counseling, Suicidality. She has gained certificates in Non-Profit Administration, and in Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion in the Office.
