Kentucky Republicans Override Veto Of Bill Barring Trans Girls From Women’s Sports

Kentucky Republicans voted on Wednesday to override Gov. Andy Beshear’s (D) veto of legislation that bans transgender women from taking part in any activity or athletic action specified for women.

The state Senate voted 29-8 and the point out Residence voted 72-43 to override Beshear’s veto of Senate Invoice 83, rendering it law.
