BARBOUR COUNTY — In celebration of Men’s Health Month, Barbour Community Health Association entered all male patients who visited the Myers Clinic or Belington Clinic for routine screenings from June 14 to June 30 into a drawing.

Patients had the chance to win a YETI soft cooler in the drawing.

The Myers Clinic received 111 entries in the drawing and the Belington Clinic received 118 entries.

Billy Workman, a patient of the Myers Clinic, won a YETI soft cooler in the drawing, and Robert Messer, from the Belington Clinic, was the winner of the second cooler during the drawing.

Every year, June is nationally recognized as Men’s Health Month with the purpose of heightening awareness of preventable health problems and encouraging early detection and treatment of diseases, including cancer, heart disease, and depression.
